Swine Flu

While there are many topics that come under educating the World I am starting with Swine Flu today because it has become such a big issue in the USA and other parts of the World. If you watch the news or read the news you will see that most people are trying to get the vaccine if they are in the targeted groups. The Swine Flu seems to be the worst for the young and of course for anyone that is compromised such as aids. There are shortages because the private sector that is so touted by the Republican Party promised what they could not deliver. When they made the promise to the President at the onset they did not realize that the vaccine for H1N1 (Swine) flu was going to take almost twice as long to grow as the vaccine for the common flu from 2008. This is mostly because we are still using eggs to grow the vaccine. You see it is not as profitable as turning out the over-prescribed pills that dominate the "to do" list of big pharma.This now brings us to the second topic. Vaccine causes everything from autism to aids according to anyone with a computer and access to the Internet. If you or your child has any allergy to eggs you may want to take your chances and skip the vaccine. Thus far there has been no proof that any vaccine causes autism. Two things come into play: #1 autism is usually diagnosed not at birth but closer to age 5 or older thus beyond the time of vaccination. It is easy to see how the parents would want to say if only they had not vaccinated their child ....You get the picture. #2 is the fact that with the Internet you get all sorts of postings. Some qualify as honest & factual but many do not. There is no clear cut way to tell the good from the bad except by cross reference.One of the things that is not being discussed is the theory, based on a limited study, that aging fathers are more likely to give birth to a child with autism.
